I believe there is something particularly special about high school sweethearts who tie the knot. It's incredibly unique to watch someone grow-up, then promise to spend forever together. It was such an honor to witness these two embark on a new journey after 10+ years of dating! Yancey and Christian met in their high school band class and never looked back. I've had a blast getting to know Yancey, Christian, their fur-baby and most importantly, their incredible and joyful love story.
Yancey and Christian tied the knot on a perfect November afternoon in Wake Forest at The Historic Wakefield Barn. I was so excited to finally see and photograph this new local venue! It was evident that each detail was thoughtfully chosen, creating an intentional and meaningful wedding day design. I especially loved color scheme! The combination of deep maroons, purples, pinks, and navy paired with organic greenery and farmhouse elements was absolutely exquisite. Leave it up to Janna Brown, of Chad Biggs Events, to execute a perfectly designed day!
During a series of emotional first looks and reception toasts, it was obvious to me that Yancey and Christian’s family has always been at the core of their relationship. The support, love and joy for these newlyweds was (and will continue to be) unmeasurable. Congrats again Mr. and Mrs. Manhard! Thank you for inviting me to be apart of such a joyous occasion.
Big thanks to these all-star vendors who brought this day to life so perfectly!
