When I met Jen and Matt for the first time, I knew then their wedding day was going to be an absolute blast! From the start these two were genuine, charming and super easy-going. Over the past year I have loved learning about their relationship, families, and their time spent in Durham while Matt earned his MBA at Duke.
Jen and Matt tied the knot this past April at one of my favorite venues in the Bull City, The Cotton Room at Golden Belt. It was such a treat to be back at this special place surrounded by Jen and Matt’s loving friends and family. For the most part, we dodged the wind and rain and were thankfully able to take most of their portraits outside. Despite the crazy weather, these two radiated joy their entire wedding day. Each and every detail was so thoughtfully chosen, creating a stylish, elegant, and timeless wedding day. I absolutely loved the Ranunculus and Anemone blooms that were incorporated into the bridal bouquet, the pops of blue integrated into the reception design and bridal party attire, and Matt’s lively reception toast honoring the active and retired military personnel.
Above all else, what stood out to me the most was Jen and Matt’s deeply rooted love, passion, and supportive family and friends. I couldn’t have asked for a more relaxed and joyful couple! Working and celebrating with Jen and Matt over the past year has been an absolute blessing. Jen and Matt, I am so happy for you both and I wish you the best! I hope to see you again soon.
I hope you enjoy this collection from the day. Big thanks to this amazing vendor team!
